The Lionesses successfully defended the trophy that they won in 2022 with a 3-1 victory on penalties, after drawing 1-1 across 120 minutes of an energy-zapping finale with the world champions.
United's Ella Toone played 87 minutes for England and Grace Clinton was introduced in extra-time, while our captain Maya Le Tissier was an unused substitute for the winners.

Toone retained her place in the XI - having started each of England's last four games on the run to the final - and was part of a vigorous Lionesses start, although it was Spain who cut through the tension to take the lead after 25 minutes.
