United's Lindelof wins second Golden Ball award

The Guldbollen, as it is referred to in Sweden, was first handed out in 1946 and it remains a prestigious prize in Scandinavia, with the list of previous winners featuring some stellar names.

That includes the legendary goalscorer Henrik Larsson, who was given the award in 1998 and 2004 while playing for Celtic and Barcelona, prior to his successful 2007 loan move to Old Trafford.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic also enjoyed an incredible 11-year stint with the prize that began in 2007 while playing for Internazionale and continued throughout his spells at Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and, of course, United.
