The manager reported to the Theatre of Dreams several hours before the 20:00 BST kick-off, allowing him plenty of time to walk the pitch and survey the scene.
As ever, our cameras were positioned outside the tunnel to capture the squad arriving and spending time with our supporters in the Manchester rain.

As expected, Anthony Martial is back with the group after injury ruled the Frenchman out of the preceding matches with Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford.
The manager suggested he would return during his pre-match interview, telling us: “Victor [Lindelof] has not returned to the training pitch yet, but the good news is that Anthony Martial is back in training with the team.
