The Reds edged past the Sky Blues on penalties after an eventful 120 minutes at the national stadium on Sunday afternoon, to set up a rematch of last year's final, against Manchester City.
This year's showpiece event under the arch is set to take place on Saturday 25 May.
Having never faced City in the FA Cup final before last season, the two teams are now set to go head-to-head again next month, for the right to lift the prestigious trophy.
The Blues came out on top in the 2023 meeting, triumphing 2-1 last June, when Ilkay Gundogan scored either side of a Bruno Fernandes penalty.
