United make club history with Newcastle win

Ever since the club was formed, we had never won six successive Premier League or Division One matches on the road, while scoring at least two goals in each of them.

Even Sir Matt Busby and Sir Alex Ferguson's all-conquering sides never managed this particular feat, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's troops pulled it off by coming from behind to run out convincing victors, in the end, on Tyneside.

The streaks of five successive away wins, scoring at least twice on each occasion, include one that started with a 2-0 victory at Crystal Palace that virtually sealed a first Premier League title in April 1993.
