However, it has been switched to Leeds' Thorp Arch training ground instead, and will now get under way at 13:00 GMT.
Fans who have already purchased tickets for the initial fixture will be contacted by York Stadium Management Company regarding refund options.
The Premier League has confirmed the change, as Adam Lawrence's Reds look to regain top spot in the table, having slipped behind Chelsea, on goals scored.
The west Londoners have an away game at Birmingham City, which kicks off at 19:00 GMT.
