United supporters have always demonstrated incredible commitment to our proud youth system, most notably at the 2022 FA Youth Cup final when a record-breaking 67,000 were in attendance. That’s far from the only example, however, with away crowds of a thousand or more following the team in the EFL Trophy over the last two seasons.
Our Under-18s have enjoyed a successful season thus far, establishing a remarkable 14-game winning streak in the league as well as progressing to the final of the U18 Premier League Cup. Their 100 per cent league run has now ended but they remain top of the table and, while each player’s individual programme and development is at the heart of the Academy’s mission rather than team results, the U18s have the chance to complete an impressive double thanks to their excellent application all season.
