Torpey was appointed in August to lead all aspects of the club’s youth development system following the departure of his predecessor Nick Cox.
The UEFA A licence holder has almost two decades of experience in elite Academy coaching and management, having previously worked at Manchester City, Liverpool and Brentford.
In his first interview as a Red, Stephen speaks passionately about the honour and responsibility of leading United’s world-famous youth system.
“You don't join a club like Manchester United if you don't embrace pressure,” he states. “You see the pressure as a privilege. The thing that stimulates me is wanting to be the best at something and doing things that have never been done before.
