Manchester United have made an amusing response to Pep Guardiola's bizarre claim that he will always be a 'failure' at Manchester City because his idol Julia Roberts visited Old Trafford instead of the Etihad.
Pep Guardiola hilariously insisted even three Champions League trophies wouldn't be enough to make his time at City a success - because his side were once snubbed by Roberts.
The manager was unsurprisingly in good spirits after his side thrashed RB Leipizig to ease into the quarter-finals on Tuesday night.
Guardiola revealed that Roberts is one of his three idols, alongside golf legend Tiger Woods and NBA all-time great Michael Jordan, and subsequently admitted his disappointment that the Hollywood star chose to visit United's ground instead of City's when she travelled to England in 2016.
