In a press conference on Monday morning ahead of United’s trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers, Solskjaer was asked whether the return to Molineux was a test of pride after such a recent defeat on the same pitch in the Emirates FA Cup quarter-finals.
“Of course, when you lose a game you have to be seen to have the mentality that you want to bounce back,”
he said.
“But the mentality wasn’t the problem against Wolves, we just didn’t find the quality.
“Wolves are a team that enjoy playing against the big sides, and their results against all the big sides have shown that.
