Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has pointed the blame for Manchester United's desperately disappointing season at his players.

United are coming to the end of their worst ever Premier League campaign with the club sitting 16th after just 10 wins in 36 games.

Amorim took charge following the sacking of Erik ten Hag in October but has failed to turn things around domestically, managing just victories in 25 matches.

'I am embarrassed that in 25 games, we have won six,' Amorim told Sky Sports. 'Something is wrong with the way we are playing football.
