Sergio Romero has said he wants to remain at Manchester United for as long as he possibly can.

The goalkeeper is one of the Reds’ longest-serving players having joined in 2015, but, in that time, the Argentinian has predominantly played back-up to our no.1 David De Gea.

Despite that, Romero insists he loves playing for United and admits he is fulfilling a boyhood dream every time he represents the Reds.

“When you get the chance to play for the greatest club in the world, and the chance to wear this shirt, it’s almost like fulfilling a dream - a dream coming true,”

the 32-year-old said during Wednesday’s press conference, ahead of our Europa League clash with AZ Alkmaar the following day.
