Scott McTominay has been voted Manchester United's Player of the Month for October.

The homegrown midfielder ensured we entered the last international break on the back of a win, rather than a defeat, with a dramatic stoppage-time double overturning a one-goal deficit against Brentford at Old Trafford.

A sharp piece of control and slick finish preceded a headed winner, at the death, from Harry Maguire's assist.

It was an incredible intervention by the substitute and he followed it up with the opener in the 2-1 win at Sheffield United, with another composed effort.

The Scotland international was also unlucky not to score against both FC Copenhagen and Manchester City, when denied by top saves from Kamil Grabara and Ederson respectively.
