Ruud van Nistelrooy 'says yes to becoming PSV Eindhoven manager' after the Manchester United legend held talks with incoming chief Marcel Brands over replacing departing boss Roger Schmidt

Ruud van Nistelrooy has reportedly agreed to become the next manager of PSV Eindhoven following successful talks with incoming general manager Marcel Brands.

Van Nistelrooy, 45, is currently in charge of Jong PSV, the club's reserve side, after coaching their Under-18 team up until last summer.

While he has previously worked as an assistant for Netherlands' national side, the Manchester United legend is yet to take on a senior managerial role despite hanging up his boots almost 10 years ago.

But according to De Telegraaf, Van Nistelrooy is poised to take the reins with PSV after holding talks over their manager's position this week.
