Ruben Amorim reveals heartbreaking reason why Amad Diallo will not be available against Brentford - as fans hail Man United for touching gesture

Amad Diallo will miss Manchester United’s clash with Brentford on Saturday lunchtime after he was given compassionate leave following a family bereavement.

Head coach Ruben Amorim confirmed that the Ivory Coast international will be absent from the squad at the Getch Community Stadium along with Casemiro, who serves a one-match suspension after picking up two yellow cards in the win over Chelsea last weekend, and injured duo Noussair Mazraoui and Lisandro Martinez.

‘Licha is out, Casemiro is out because of the red card (against Chelsea),’ said Amorim.
