Ruben Amorim admits nothing can save Manchester United's season as he bids to move one step closer to winning the Europa League on Thursday.
United take on Athletic Bilbao in the semi-final at the Estadio San Mames hoping to return to the same venue for the final later this month.
But Amorim accepts that even a European trophy wouldn't make United's season a success, even though it would secure qualification to the Champions League and a £100million jackpot to spend on new signings this summer.
'We know nothing is going to save our season,' said Amorim last night (wed).
