Ruben Amorim admits £73m striker Benjamin Sesko is struggling to settle at Man United and must learn to live with the intense scrutiny

Ruben Amorim admits ‘control freak’ Benjamin Sesko is struggling to live up to expectations at Manchester United and handle the criticism from pundits and former players.

The United boss accepts Sesko will take time to settle at Old Trafford following a £73.7million summer move from RB Leipzig, and is backing the young Slovenia striker to be a success.

But Amorim has told Sesko that he must learn to live with the intense scrutiny from the critics after scoring twice in his first 11 games.

Last weekend, Gary Neville told Sky Sports that the 22-year-old is ‘miles off it’ compared to other summer signings Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, who on Friday was named the Premier League player of the month for October.
