REVEALED: Manchester United 'hire two new London-based scouts' as part of their academy overhaul, which will focus on getting young UK talent into the first-team squad at Old Trafford

Manchester United have hired two new members of staff to their scouting department who will be in charge of unearthing talent in 'the London area'.

The Red Devils are in the middle of a huge restructuring of their youth academy with a focus on homegrown talent, despite the recent exit of Nicky Butt as the head of first-team development.

Now, Manchester Evening News are reporting that United have hired two scouts to look for more homegrown talent in the capital.
