This summer, as well as our Under-15s taking part in the competition, the Reds have sent an Under-21 team to open the week-long event with a showpiece friendly against Rangers this evening (Saturday 17:30 BST) at The Coleraine Showgrounds. The same squad will face Northern Irish Premiership side Ballymena United on Monday night at the Ballymena Showgrounds (19:30 BST kick-off).
The SuperCupNI is an annual junior tournament held on Northern Ireland’s north coast, and has become somewhat synonymous with United’s participation over the years.
The Reds first sent a youth team to the competition in 1989 and since then we have been one of the most regular participants in the SuperCupNI.
