Lucy Staniforth and Sophie Baggaley joined the club’s ‘Game Changers’ in welcoming over 100 young girls from 11 Foundation partner schools to Old Trafford, for a special event to celebrate the annual occasion.
The objective of the event was to give the students a chance to speak to some incredible female role models, with representatives from across the club, commercial partners, plus local authorities and businesses kindly giving up their time to help increase awareness of career opportunities for women in football, sport and other industries.
They were joined by United stars Staniforth and Baggaley who were on hand to share their experiences and provide an insight into the women who have inspired and shaped them throughout their careers.
