Reds donate shirt-printing proceeds to Kick It Out

The players will wear shirts with ‘Black Lives Matter’ printed on the back in place of their names for United’s first game of the restarted season at Tottenham Hotspur on Friday.

Fans who want the message printed on their own shirt via United Direct, or at the Old Trafford Megastore, will have their £10 payments donated to Kick It Out.

Richard Arnold, Manchester United managing director, commented: “Manchester United has a long-standing commitment against racism and discrimination, both through our own campaigns and through support of external organisations working in this area. We wanted to take this from being a valuable message of support to real tangible help for the essential work that Kick It Out do in this area.
