Read Amorim's answer on his system

Amorim reminded journalists that he was hired by Manchester United to coach his system which, in itself, is adaptable to different opponents.

The Reds have experienced a difficult start to the campaign, with Wednesday's penalty shootout defeat at Grimsby Town following the draw with Fulham and defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League.

But the boss believes that changing everything now, in the interest of chasing results, would be counterproductive for him and his players.

“I played in all my life, a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3. The only system that I didn't play one minute [was] 3-4-3,” Ruben said.
