Our no.10 had the operation on the long-running injury a few weeks ago, after consultation with the manager, club medical staff and specialists resulted in an agreement that he would undergo an immediate procedure to fix the issue.
It has of course unfortunately meant that Marcus has had to miss the start of the new campaign while he gets back on his feet, but he did take to social media after the surgery to show that he remains in good spirits and that it had all gone well.
