It was announced on 21 April that ten Hag will take charge of the Reds from the end of this season until June 2025, with the option to extend for a further year.
In the club statement, the Dutchman described a great honour and spoke about his excitement, while also making it clear his immediate focus is on Ajax and their Eredivisie title race.
Ajax are currently top of the league and could win the championship this Sunday, if they beat AZ Alkmaar and rivals PSV suffer a defeat to third-placed Feyenoord in the later kick-off.
