Ralf Rangnick 'has been told he WILL have transfer funds available this month' as Manchester United interim boss battles to overturn rocky season... 'with up to ELEVEN players disillusioned at Old Trafford'

Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick will be backed by the Glazers in January, according to reports, with the interim coach facing disharmony in his squad amid a turbulent campaign.

The German boss has not managed to quell the feeling of unease at Old Trafford this season after he suffered his first defeat in charge - a 1-0 home loss to Wolves on Monday night, with his tactics and decsion-making coming into question.

But despite spending around £126million on three high profile signings last summer in Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo, United's squad still looks short on quality in a handful of areas, and the Times report that Rangnick will be given transfer funds to spend this month.
