Premier League referee Anthony Taylor has stood by his controversial decision to award Brentford's second goal in Sunday's thrilling 4-3 win over Manchester United.
United made a number of changes to the team that had beaten Athletic Club in midweek in the Europa League, and struggled to replicate a performance of the same calibre in west London.
Despite taking the lead through Mason Mount early on, United found themselves 4-1 down late in the second half, after an own goal from Luke Shaw, two from Kevin Schade and another from Yoane Wissa.
