The Welshman is training with Ricky Sbragia’s Under-23s, who have recently returned from Austria, where the squad began preparations ahead of the 2018/19 Premier League 2 season.
“It’s good to be back,”
Poole told MUTV.
“I obviously know all of the lads from when I was here before.
“I had a good two years here before I went out on loan and there are still a lot of familiar faces. A few people have moved on and it’s good to see them doing so well.”Poole played 24 games for Northampton last season and found the experience crucial in his development.
