PICTURED: Manchester United's new performance analyst Ewan Sharp arrives at Carrington with interim boss Ralf Rangnick for his first day of training as the pair get down to work ahead of Newcastle trip on Monday

Ewan Sharp sat alongside Ralf Rangnick in the back of the car as Manchester United's latest coaching hire arrived at Carrington for his first day in the job on Wednesday.

United confirmed Sharp, a performance analyst, as Rangnick's third coaching appointment since taking over as interim manager.

Sharp, who has followed Rangnick to Old Trafford from Lokomotiv Moscow having previously worked under the German at RB Leipzig and New York Red Bulls, wasted no time in getting down to work as he got a look around Carrington on Wednesday.
