Owen Hargreaves has revealed just how far Sir Alex Ferguson went to motivate his players during his Manchester United heyday.
Ferguson, the hugely successful former Old Trafford boss, was known to rally his troops using the hairdryer-treatment — something he claimed in 2016 he used only six times in his 27 years in the dugout.
However it wasn't the only type of motivation he used, with Hargreaves, who arrived at United in 2007, revealing one unusual way Ferguson made sure his players were pumped.
Speaking on BT Sport, the former midfielder said: 'I remember when I first signed for United, we were in Asia somewhere, pre-season.
