Onana and Hojlund up for top FIFA awards

After announcing his retirement following the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the 27-year-old was recalled by Cameroon boss Rigobert Song for this month's internationals and played the whole game in Garoua on Tuesday.

Goals from Brentford forward Bryan Mbuemo, Rennes defender Christopher Wooh and Besiktas striker Vincent Aboubakar ensured the comfortable victory, as Cameroon confirmed their qualification for next year's African Cup of Nations.

Elsewhere on Tuesday, England beat Scotland 3-1 in an international friendly at Hampden Park, with Reds' duo Scott McTominay and Marcus Rashford both named in their respective nations starting XI's.
