Ole: Munich remains an important part of our history

Saturday marks 63 years since 23 people sadly lost their lives in the tragedy and Ole feels the significance of that date in our history is not lost on the current batch of first-team players.

Our Premier League encounter with Everton will be marked by a number of poignant tributes such as a minute’s silence and the laying of wreaths by both captains. More information on how we will remember the event can be found here.

Speaking during Friday’s pre-match press conference, Ole outlined how the spirit of those we lost in 1958 will never be forgotten by our fans, players and all those associated with the club.
