Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits that Manchester United want Edinson Cavani to stay at Old Trafford next season but the final decision is down to the Uruguay star.
Cavani’s future has been plunged into doubt this week after reports emerged from South America claiming that he wants to join Argentine club Boca Juniors after just one season at United.
The player’s father Luis said that Cavani does not feel comfortable in England, fuelling speculation that the player is unhappy over his treatment at the hands of the FA, who banned him for three games in January and fined him £100,000 for using the word ‘negrito’ in a social media post.
