Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirms Marcus Rashford is 'very happy' with his shoulder surgery and reveals the Manchester United forward is already 'working in the gym' as part of his recovery ahead of autumn return

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claims Marcus Rashford is delighted with his shoulder surgery as he continues his rehabilitation from the injury setback.

It was decided over the summer that the Manchester United forward would undergo the procedure after struggling with the shoulder issue towards during most of last season and during the summer's European Championships with England.

Rashford, 23, tore a muscle in his shoulder last November but only underwent the surgery on August 6 of this year after requiring painkilling injections in order to play during that period.

It was decided in July that Rashford would have surgery after picking up an issue in November

The forward is optimistic of getting back onto the pitch by October, with Solskjaer claiming he is already doing gym work to stay fit during his rehabilitation.
