Ole Gunnar Solskjaer apologises for going 'overboard with my words' in touchline spat with Chris Wilder during Manchester United's victory against Sheffield United

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer conceded he went 'overboard with my words' as he engaged in a touchline row with rival boss Chris Wilder in Manchester United's win at Sheffield United.

Despite making a poor start in which they fell behind after five minutes, Solskjaer's side rallied and returned back to Manchester with a 3-2 win after goals from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.

Tensions were high in the technical area and after taking issue with a number of tackles, Solskjaer and Wilder exchanged words as they were separated by the fourth official, something Solskjaer has since apologised for.
