Nottingham Forest want to sign Monza full back Carlos Augusto and hope £8m will be enough to land him... as they look to bring in three more players including Dean Henderson and Conor Coady

Nottingham Forest are targeting Monza's attacking left-back Carlos Augusto.

Manager Steve Cooper and chief football officer Ross Wilson are keen to get fresh signings in early to prepare for the new season.

They have a deal in place for Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson and are also keen on Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams and Wolves defender Conor Coady.

Augusto is a 24-year old Brazilian who has an Italian passport through his grandparents.

Monza are keen to keep him and have opened discussions over a new contract but Forest have held initial discussions and will try to see if he can be prised away for around £8million.
