Neymar 'turned down Manchester City and Manchester United' to stay at Barcelona... while reports in Italy claim Antonio Conte will sell Cesc Fabregas

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim that Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Manchester City made offers to sign Neymar last summer -with all of the clubs happy to meet his €190m (£170m) release clause.

They understand that Spanish giants Real Madrid wanted to pay the Brazilian a bonus of €72m, with €32m going straight into his pocket and the rest spread over the course of his contract.

Manchester United and PSG both offered the same bonus of €80m, with €40m as an up-front payment and the remaining €40m coming at a later date. Manchester City told Neymar that money was no object, but he did not entertain their approach.
