Max Allegri aims thinly-veiled dig at Cristiano Ronaldo by insisting his Juventus side are now 'more of a team' after 'putting aside personal targets' following superstar's sale to Manchester United

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri appears to have issued a sly dig at Cristiano Ronaldo by claiming the Old Lady 'feel more like a team' this season without the Portuguese forward.

Ronaldo departed Juventus last summer to seal a £20million move back to Manchester United, bringing a three-year spell in Turin to an end, one that saw the Italian giants win two Serie A titles and last season's Coppa Italia.

Juventus have been struggling in the league this season, with Allegri's squad undergoing a horrendous start to the campaign and are currently battling Atalanta and Lazio for a top-four spot.
