The 23-year-old joined the Reds earlier this month and netted a debut goal in the opening day defeat to Crystal Palace.
Having now spent a couple of weeks training alongside him, Matic has been impressed by what he’s seen and is tipping the Dutchman for great things at Old Trafford.
“He's a happy man I think! [Smiles] He's happy to be with us and we're happy to have him,” Matic told us. “It's just a few weeks he's been with us and I'm sure he'll be a very important player for the future because he has a lot of talent.
