Marko Arnautovic reveals Jose Mourinho wanted to bring him to Man United in 2016 when he was at West Ham before Paul Pogba's £89m switch scuppered the deal 'because the club didn't have enough money for me'

Marko Arnautovic has claimed that Jose Mourinho wanted him at Manchester United but the Red Devils were unable to afford a deal after signing Paul Pogba for a record fee.

The Red Devils made their biggest ever outlay in the summer of 2016 when they signed Pogba from Juventus for £89m.

The club had also been looking at Arnautovic, who was then a West Ham player.
