Marcus Rashford was reportedly completely unaware of a mix-up which led to his McLaren 765 Long Tail sports car having number plates registered to a Skoda.
A personalised number plate was reportedly delivered to the Manchester United star, but was wrongly registered to a Skoda Citigo, according to DVLA checks.
The Mirror reported that the star had been unaware of the issue, with the supplier having been at fault for the mistake.
'It was a problem with the supplier and nothing to do with Marcus,' an Old Trafford source said.
