Marcus Rashford has officially been awarded Manchester United's second goal in the Carabao Cup final... the strike was originally given as a Sven Botman own-goal as the Red Devils ended their six-year trophy drought

Marcus Rashford has officially been awarded Manchester United's second goal in the Carabao Cup final - after it was originally taken away from the forward.

Rashford was played through by Wout Weghorst towards the end of the first-half and his strike took a deflection before looping over Loris Karius in the Newcastle goal.

Sven Botman originally had the misfortune of having the effort given as an own-goal against him but the EFL have since reversed this decision.

The Red Devils took the lead at Wembley when Casemiro headed home after a brilliant cross from Luke Shaw.
