Marcus Rashford has wished Cristiano Ronaldo all the best following his departure from Manchester United and described playing with his 'idol' as an 'unbelievable experience'.
The Portuguese's second spell with Manchester United came to an abrupt end last week, when the 37-year-old mutually agreed to end his contract with the club following comments made during his controversial interview with Piers Morgan earlier this month.
Despite the remarks made, his now former team-mate Marcus Rashford was speaking about Ronaldo during an England press conference, where he described the Portugal captain as one of his idols and thanked him for what he had done for Man Utd.
