Marcus Rashford and Conor Coady are both OUT of England's games with Belgium and Iceland, reveals Gareth Southgate as he praises his team for their ruthless win over the Republic of Ireland

Gareth Southgate praised ruthless England as they dispatched of Republic of Ireland - but will be without Conor Coady for Sunday’s crucial clash in Belgium following a Covid scare.

In a further blow Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford will also be unavailable for the clash in Leuven after failing to recover from a shoulder injury.

Harry Maguire, Jadon Sancho and Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored the goals as Gareth Southgate’s men strolled to victory at Wembley.

But their victory was tempered as it emerged that Coady will miss Sunday’s crucial Nations League clash against world No 1 side Belgium after being contacted by the NHS’ Test and Trace alert service to inform he had inadvertently come into contact with somebody who had tested positive for Covid-19 prior to the training camp.
