Marcos Rojo in talks over Boca Juniors move which would see the out-of-favour Manchester United centre back reunite with Red Devils villain Carlos Tevez

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has held talks over a move to Boca Juniors in Argentina, though a deal has still to be finalised.

Boca are due to play Santos in the semi-final of the Copa Libertadores on Wednesday and hope to continue negotiations for Rojo this week.

United are still to receive a bid from Boca on Rojo, but initial talks have taken place.

Marcos Rojo has played 122 matches for Manchester United since joining the club in 2014
The 30-year-old centre back spent last season at Estudiantes alongside Javier Mascherano

The 30-year-old was on loan at Estudiantes last season and is open to returning to Argentina despite interest from Sheffield United and Newcastle.
