Marcelo Bielsa insists Kalvin Phillips would 'only leave Leeds if links with his boyhood club remained in tact', after transfer interest from fierce rivals Manchester United

Marcelo Bielsa is adamant that Kalvin Phillips would only leave Leeds if his link to the club and fans would stay in tact, following interest from rivals Manchester United.

Phillips has emerged as a highly coveted midfielder after outstanding displays for Gareth Southgate's England side in the Euros and consistently top level showings for Leeds.

United have been linked with the 25-year-old and while Bielsa knows how important he is, the manager accepts a move away could happen, but played down the chances of that being to United.
