Manchester United's Under-23s will face Huddersfield Town in a pre-season friendly this weekend.

The Reds are continuing a campaign of matches behind closed doors in preparation for the 2020/21 term, with the Terriers likely to field a senior side for the fixture at the John Smith's Stadium.

The 15:00 BST kick-off on Saturday cannot be attended by supporters due to the current government rules and guidelines.

The friendly scheduled for Tuesday 1 September, against Doncaster Rovers at The Cliff, has been postponed - as has this Friday's encounter with Macclesfield Town.

Neil Wood's side faced Morecambe over the weekend and enjoyed another valuable warm-up for the Premier League 2 season in a match that featured a goal for Ethan Galbraith, who was part of the first-team squad at the Europa League tournament in Germany.
