Manchester United's Under-21s drew 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur in Premier League 2 on Friday evening, with both Noam Emeran and Joe Hugill on target for the Reds.

United took the lead after just 13 minutes played, with Charlie Wellens' laser-accurate pass picking out Emeran, who muscled off his defender to fire past Josh Keeley.

Spurs responded instantly after seizing on a mistake at the back, as Romaine Mundle curled a right-footed effort beyond the stretching Radek Vitek.

Nile John's low effort handed Tottenham the advantage in the game shortly after the second-half restart, before Joe Hugill's coolly-placed finish levelled the game just five minutes after.

With the game in its relative infancy, Max Oyedele tested his luck from range but saw his effort fly over the crossbar from 25 yards out.
