Manchester United legend Denis Law was rushed to hospital after collapsing at an airport as he was about to jet off on holiday with his wife, it has emerged.
The 76-year-old Scotland great and his wife Diana were about to fly to the Spanish island of Menorca from Manchester Airport when he fainted in front of fellow passengers.
After being taken to Trafford General Hospital he was checked over and sent home by doctors.
According to The Sun, experts said the incident, on Saturday, was due to a vasovagal condition which can result in sufferers fainting unexpectedly.
