Manchester United's lucrative summer tour may not go ahead this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.

United's tour was set to include a game in India and would earn them around £16million.

However, as reported by The Mirror, those plans may now have to be cancelled.

The report indicates that United officials were close to signing contracts for up to five pre-season games in July and early August.

United charge an appearance fee of around £3.25million for each first-team game, while additional expenses are set to push the figure up to £4million per game.
