Manchester United youngster Cameron Borthwick-Jackson wanted on season-long loan by Wolves

Manchester United defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson is wanted on loan by Wolves.

Wolves technical director Andrea Butti, who knows Jose Mourinho from their time at Inter Milan, was at Old Trafford on Friday night for talks over a prospective deal.

The 19-year-old is part of Mourinho's long-term plans but the United manager wants the teenager to gain more experience and is willing to allow him to leave on a season loan.

West Bromwich Albion and Burnley have also asked about Borthwick-Jackson who won United's U21 player of the year award last season and signed a new contract extension in May.
